If you do not know what hearing aid to purchase, please follow these basic guidelines to help you choose the right amount of power for your loss.

Start with the power level you may need.

• Mild to moderate, is for a person who only needs a little help with the TV or trying to hear someone who is soft spoken. Any of the CIC and BTE aids will help with this problem.
• Moderate to severe, is for a person who has problems hearing the TV, cannot understand in the car, cannot understand in a restaurant, and problems understanding on the phone. Some CIC and BTE aids will help with this problem.
• Severe to very severe, is for a person who has all of the above and cannot hear the phone ring, has the TV up to a point that someone says "that TV is too loud". A person who is always saying "What", not to be confused with old age or slow brain processing. Also, the person has to speak very loud for them to hear. Our BTE aids will help with this problem.
